The Route

There are a number of walks - the shortest being the ascent from Wasdale Head. Don't get confused between Scafell and Scafell Pike!  Scafell Pike is the higher of the two.

Scafell Pike from Wasdale (5.5 miles) - likely route.  5 Hours. Good site - has some excellent photos of the walk.
